Butterfly valves offer users the ability to choose from a wide range of materials based on the fluid medium and environmental factors. They have quickly become widely used, replacing slide valves due to their advantages such as being lightweight, economical, reliable in terms of sealing, easy to open and close with a 90° movement, and easily adaptable to automation. Another important feature of butterfly valves is their ability to provide bi-directional sealing.
Advantages of Flu-Con Model Butterfly Valves:
**Disc: The disc is precisely CNC-machined, with rounded and polished areas where it contacts the rubber seat. The two-piece shaft construction prevents unnecessary turbulence and results in better Cv values.
**Shaft Sealing: V-section O-rings act as a secondary barrier to prevent fluid leakage along the shaft.
**Special Supported Bearing Structure: The use of a rubber seat vulcanized onto a rigid support ring increases the valve’s service life and reduces the required opening/closing torque.
**Enhanced Sealing Feature: The thickness of the rubber portion on the seat above the region corresponding to the fully closed position of the disc has been increased. This further extends the seat’s service life.
**Smaller, lighter, and more economical.
**Rubber gasket can be easily replaced.
Thanks to the special composite rubber bearing, it can operate smoothly under full vacuum.
