A pneumatic actuator converts energy (typically compressed air) into mechanical motion. Depending on the type of actuator, the motion can be either rotary or linear. They are used to open or close control valves such as globe valves, butterfly valves, directional control valves, and more.
They can be manufactured as double-acting or single-acting. Additionally, models made entirely of stainless steel are available if required.
Double-acting and single-acting actuators share the same body and can be converted into each other. Cost-effective solutions are possible. Reduces the need for spare parts and stock. Complies with VDI/VDE 3847 standard positions. Many standard accessories can be used. The indicator does not obstruct NAMUR-type connections. Valve position indicator is easily visible remotely. Standard actuators can be used for special applications without the need for modification.
