These types of heat exchangers are composed of thin plates that form the flow channels, and the fluid flows are separated by flat plates.
Plate heat exchangers are used for the transfer of heat in any gas, liquid, and two-phase flows.
They are manufactured with stainless steel, W 1.4401 (AISI316), or W 1.4547 (SMO254).
The plates are shaped by vacuuming at very high temperatures, up to 1,150°C, and are made highly resistant to high heat and pressure with thin copper or nickel. Subsequently, compliance with established standards is ensured through high-temperature and pressure tests.
